FAQ

  1. How can I start looking for a job?
    1. Start by asking your hosting center's staff! They will be the most knowledgeable about the current job market in your city.
    2. Ask around! Many jobs are not posted on job sites and can only be found by word-of-mouth. Talk to your friends, teachers, religious community -- anyone can be a potential lead.

  1. Is my diploma recognized here?
    1. It depends! For some, you need extra exams, for others you might only need to provide the "Dichiarazione di valore" (Certificate of Equivalence of Qualification) in your home country. It allows you, for example, to study at university, but not necessarily to work in your profession. Basically, it is an official declaration by the Italian embassy in your home country that your diploma is a recognized and valid qualification.
